Wood boards
A wooden chopping is ideal for all types of food preparation having a safe hygienic surface which is sympathetic to knife edges. Made from various high quality woods hevea and beech being the most popular, they are sealed for easy care and protection, fully reversible, use both top and underside.

Bamboo is 16% harder than maple making it superior and more durable than most other materials. Bamboo is in fact a fast growing grass and environmentally friendly.

Hevea is wood from the Rubber tree. It has similar properties and density to beech-wood, it is also very stable.

Olivewood A naturally oily wood with a beautiful grain. Produced from environmentally harvested old olive trees which are replaced by younger trees when they become unproductive. All woodware is hand made in a rustic country style.

Acacia A non-endangered hardwood and not harvested from rainforests. Renowned for its rich coloured timber that can vary from gold to chocolate brown depending on where the tree is grown and its growing conditions.

End-Grain Blocks These chopping blocks are made from end-cut rubber-wood. End cut provides the hardest, most durable surface. It consists of many squares of crosswise-cut pieces glued together to create a thick, stable surface that won't warp. Rubber-wood is harvested from managed forests.

Polypropylene / Acrylic Boards
As used in professional kitchens. Available in different coloured boards to ensure ideal food hygiene and avoids transfer of flavours between foods. Impregnated with an anti-bacterial agent, the polypropylene surface is also kind to knives, dishwasher safe, stylish and durable.
